The Story Marketing Team

Emily has 15 years’ experience working as an account manager, and latterly as a strategic planner, in a number of UK marketing communication agencies. Her experience includes both business-to-business, and business-to-consumer marketing, across an extensive range of clients and sectors, including FMCG (fast moving consumer goods), retail and not-for-profit. At Story, Emily’s role involves providing strategies to help businesses grow, using a number of marketing tools and communication channels. She is also a skilled writer, providing copy for clients and contributing articles for a range of NZ business publications.

Sarah has 8 years’ experience working predominately as a marketing manager for educational and corporate organisations. She has a broad range of marketing experience including website marketing, e-marketing, advertising, copywriting, print management, PR  and event marketing. In her role at Story, Sarah works mainly as an off-site marketing manager, working closely with her clients to manage their day-to-day marketing needs, as well as assisting with their marketing strategy and planning. Sarah also enjoys the challenge of one-off marketing projects.

Angela, CopywriterAngela checks Story work for accuracy, style, content and flow. If you have draft copy for anything from an internal newsletter to an annual report, Angela can polish your work to ensure that it flows, is easy to read and is free of grammatical, spelling or punctuation mistakes. Angela began work in the UK Civil Service graduate stream, developing writing skills such as minute taking, report writing and drafting of information leaflets. Then, as manager of a Citizens’ Advice Bureau, she became practised at identifying relevant issues and summarising them in accessible language. Later, as a university lecturer, she taught business communication, organising seminars on grammar, punctuation and style. In her spare time, she is part of a short story writing circle.
